Ma Chérrie is a combination of two names: Ma Chérie, the French term for “my dear,” and Ma. Cherrie, the name of one of the founders, and the inspiration behind Ma Chérrie.
Ma Chérrie Café & Lounge began as an expression of the founders’ passions.
She loves baking.
He loves drinking.
Both love coffee, creative comfort food, and, most of all, the way food and drink become part of the moments we share with the people we hold dear.
What began as an ode to the wife became an ode to something bigger: the people, passions, interests, and little moments that make life worth celebrating.
Rooted in Marikina
It feels fitting that Ma Chérrie found its home in Marikina—a city with a character of its own, where life feels a little more grounded, communities feel a little closer, and there is room to move at your own pace.
There is something about Marikina that invites you to slow down. To spend a little longer over coffee. To discover something new. To gather with friends. To make time for the things you enjoy.

At Ma Chérrie, we believe celebration doesn't always have to be grand. It can be a special dinner with people you love, a bottle opened for no particular reason, a new drink worth discovering, or simply a cup of coffee enjoyed on a slow afternoon.
We create a space where these moments can be romanticized—big or small, planned or spontaneous.
Our offerings are guided by intention, creativity, and curiosity: creative interpretations of comfort food; specialty coffee and our playful exploration of it through Cofftails; freshly made desserts and pastries; carefully selected wines and spirits; and cocktails that invite discovery.
